OUR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Damaris Huang, PA-C, is a dedicated healthcare provider from Napa, California, with a strong commitment to improving patient well being. She earned her undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah.

During her training, Damaris had the opportunity to serve diverse communities, including the Navajo Nation in Monument Valley, Colorado City, and Guatemala, her family’s homeland. These formative experiences deepened her commitment to patient centered care and strengthened her passion for serving underserved populations.

Damaris’ interest in obesity medicine began well before her formal medical training. She partnered with members of her local community to develop Spanish language workshops promoting healthy nutritional habits, an initiative she continues to lead today. Her passion for sleep medicine developed during her clinical rotations, where she observed the high prevalence of sleep related disorders and witnessed the transformative impact that effective treatment can have on patients’ quality of life. These experiences solidified her dedication to this specialized field.

Outside of her professional work, Damaris enjoys exploring new matcha spots, attending sporting events, and going on adventures with her husband and baby daughter, Ellie. She is excited to be part of the Sleep Fit Medical team and is proud to collaborate with such a talented and compassionate group.
